Our Public Education sessions are free; however, donations are appreciated.
As professionals, we understand that there’s a need for more knowledge and awareness with epilepsy.
We appreciate that organizations, schools, businesses, and social service agencies work with this specific population, but that they may not have all of the tools needed for success.
Epilepsy Simcoe County is committed to offering outreach services and solidifying our relationship within the community. Our desire is to continue to bring epilepsy into the public eye through our relationships with others, which include – but are not limited to – the media and city leaders.
Bringing Public Education on Epilepsy to Your Organization
At this time we’re offering public education virtually, and there is no charge to have us speak.
One of our staff would be pleased to present to students, teachers, clients, and / or colleagues on topics which can include the following:
- An overview of epilepsy and / or seizures,
- Getting diagnosed,
- First-aid for seizures and when to call an ambulance
Presentations can be between 30 to 60 minutes in length; the length of the presentation will be determined in part by the content to be discussed.
At this time, all bookings will be done virtually.
To start the booking process, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
