Connect Hair Studio’s ‘Women’s Connection 4’ event will raise funds for and awareness of Epilepsy in Simcoe County

Epilepsy Simcoe County and Connect Hair Studio are pleased to announce that they will team up for this year’s Women’s Connection 4 – Pretty in Purple.

Connect Hair Studio’s Women’s Connections 1- 3 have raised almost $10 000 for local charities, including Breast Cancer Awareness, Youth Haven and the Barrie Women and Children’s Shelter, and this year’s event promises to be the best yet.

Join us on Monday, May 7 for the opportunity to meet over 13 of Barrie’s women entrepreneurs, have some fun and raise much needed funds to support the work of Epilepsy Simcoe County.

A $20 ticket offers a vendor market promoting local entrepreneurs champagne, appetizers, live entertainment and a silent auction. Media personality/auctioneer, Darryl Mabley of KOOL 107.5 FM, will conduct a live auction. Tickets are limited and available from Connect Hair Studio.

Epilepsy Simcoe County (ESC) was established in 1978 as a volunteer organization to assist the people of Simcoe County with education, support, awareness and advocacy. ESC is located in downtown Barrie and serves their member base in the Greater Simcoe County area. ESC provides people living with epilepsy education, understanding and support to get help they may need in a caring and understanding environment.

Epilepsy is a common disorder with over 300,000 Canadians affected and over 50 million people world wide. It is estimated 1 in 100 people in Simcoe County live with this disorder.
